HOPKINTON
Margaret E. Chapman, 90, died Sunday evening, Dec. 8, 1996, in Noelridge Manor, Cedar Rapids, after a brief illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. Luke's Catholic Church. Burial: Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Monticello . Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Goettsch Funeral Home, Hopkinton, where a Scripture service begins at 7 tonight.
Surviving are a son, Donald (Katie) of Springville; four daughters, Mary Ellen (Joe) Haigh of Hopkinton, Rae Ann (Clarence) Goedken and Donna (Bob) Ammeter, all of Monticello, and Joan (Francis) Sperfslage of Edgewood; 15 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William in 1956; a son, Howard in 1958; a great-granddaughter, Nicole Sperfslage; six sisters; and five brothers.
