She was born in Greeley, Colorado, on Feb. 10, 1921. On Oct. 10, 1939, she married Reinholt Kling in Sidney, Montana. They started a family that would produce five children: Ronald, Gloria, Larry, Sharon and Greg.
Leah loved to plant flowers, she loved to cook and play piano and crochet. She was always content with what God had given her and never asked for more than that. In the days after our father had passed, she would tell us often that she missed him so much. She now is with him and all the loved ones that have gone before her.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Conrad and Katherine (Hofferber) Strasheim, and husband Reinholdt. She is survived by Ronnie and Jean Kling, of Moses Lake, Washington, Gloria and Don Gunther, of Billings, Montana, Larry and Linda Kling, of Woodinville, Washington, Sharon Brown, of Phoenix, Arizona, and Greg and Shirley Kling, of Moses Lake, Washington. Leah had 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 37 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be holding a celebration of her blessed life sometime in April 2021. Please express your thoughts and memories for the family at www.kayserschapel.com. Arrangements are under the care of Kayser's Chapel of Memories.
