Josephine Faber Mattia Pucevich, 95, of Aliquippa, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 30, 2020, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 17, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John and Nellie Faber. She had six brothers and two sisters that preceded her in death. Josephine was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She married Bill Mattia and had three daughters, the late Carla Vukmanovich (Joseph), Antonia Mattia (Marta) and Maxine Mattia Farmer (Steve). She delighted in spending time with her eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Later in her life Josephine married the late Steve Pucevich.
Josephine enjoyed talking to friends and family over tea. She loved chocolate and bowling and family gatherings. She was a kind, thoughtful, and generous person
There will be no public visitation, however, family and friends will remember Josephine at a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa, Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 10:00am.
Private interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery-Hopewell Twp.
