Lora M. Devine Noll, 92, was born March 11, 1894, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of William and Louella (Ferguson) Devine. She attended rural schools in Marshalltown and Ida Grove. At the age of 8, her family moved to the Ida Grove area. She passed away on June 29, 1991, and burial was in the Ida Grove Cemetery.

On Jan. 1, 1914, she married James Christian Noll in Ida County, Iowa. The couple farmed the home place for 3 years and then moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, to farm. They lived there for 11 years before returning to Ida Grove. He died in 1969. The three oldest children were born in Idaho, Donald, Roy, and Wilmer.

Mrs. Noll was a member of the Quilters, a painting group, and Kitchen Klatter Club. She wrote poetry and started painting pictures at the age of 80. She entered Morningside Care Center at the age of 92.

Survivors include 3 sons and their wives, Roy and Ruth Noll of Arthur, Iowa; Wilmer and Freda Noll of Ida Grove, Iowa; Melvin and Vangie Noll of Anamosa, Iowa; two daughters and their husbands, Barbara and Wayne Bennett of Ida Grove, Iowa; Marjorie and Charles Wadsley of Nemaha, Iowa; 25 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchioldren; 15 step great-grandchildren; and 12 step great-great grandchildren.
