"Mrs. Joseph Morthorst and daughter, Miss Rose Morthorst, New Albanay, returned yesterday from Enochsburg, Ind., where they attended the funeral of Mrs. Morthorst's father, John Henry Shroeder, a former resident of Louisville.
Mr. Schroeder lived in Louisville until 1849 and married Miss Elizabeth Tuka, of Louisville, who died in 1894. Three sons, two daughters, sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren survive."

"Mr. Henry G. Morthorst, Washington, who has been visiting his grandfather, Mr. J. H. Schroeder, in Enochsburg, Ind., is now with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Morthorst, 2229 Ekin avenue. He was accompanied by his mother, who also was visiting there."
