Colin Owen Pothier – age 62, of Kentville, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at home. Born in Kentville, he was a son to the late Jean "Emery" and Marjorie (Whale) Pothier. Colin enjoyed his years as a school bus driver. He travelled many miles as a long-time taxi driver. Colin gave people the highlight of the day when delivering the daily newspaper for several years with his wife, Valerie. The loves of his life were his wife, Valerie and their daughter, Jen. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Valerie (Arenburg); daughter, Jen; sister, Valerie (James) Brown, Greenwich; brothers, Andrew (Donna), British Columbia; Peter (Heather), Coldbrook and Eugene "Archie" (Amy), Canaan; nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation, by request. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions, the service and interment will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to Diabetes Canada (NS), Heart and Stroke Foundation of NS or Valley Regional Hospital Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
