Dorothy Steinle passsd away into the hands of her Lord Saturday morning, October 13, 2007 after a long illness. She resided at Jefferson City Manor since May, and had also lived five years at Heisinger Bluffs to be near her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. and Mrs. John Hobratschk.
Dorothy and her husband Edwin Steinle lived in Hillsboro, Kansas, for 27 years until Ed passed away in 2001. Dorothy worked as a medical assistant for 17 years.

She was born Dorothy Moeck in Nortonville, Kansas, on November 6, 1916, and married Rev. B.A. Hobratschk in 1938. Pastor Hobratschk served Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro from 1953-1963, and died in 1969.

Surviving are children Donald and Lois Hobratschk of Sun City Center, Florida; John and Linda Hobratschk of Jefferson City, Missouri; Stephen and Berneal Hobratschk Flach of Menlo Park, California; stepdaughter Barbara Steinle Goodale and husband Kevin of Blue Springs, Missouri; stepson Gary Steinle and wife Bonnie Wichita; grandchildren Mark, Marcia, Matthew, Johanna, Shelly, Deon, David, Westin; and great grandchildren Alyson, Julia, Danielle, Hannah, Seth, Luke, Hallie, Seth Andrew, and Ellen Lynn.
