Mrs. Lena Hoffmann, 86, 335 Harrison, died Sunday in a rest home at Overbrook. She had been admitted to a Topeka hospital Oct. 6, 1972, after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage and later was transferred to the rest home.
She was born Feb. 15, 1886, in Pfeiffer, Russia, and lived in Topeka about 84 years.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Anthony's Guild, and the altar society at the church.
Her husband, Frank G. Hoffmann, died Aug. 15, 1961. A daughter, Helen Hoffmann, died April 6, 1955.
Survivors include four sons, Norbert and Jerome, both of Wichita, Anthony of Kansas City, Kan., and Francis, at home; three daughters: Mrs. Florence Gartner, 1173 College, Mrs. Isabel Laird, 1506 Topeka, and Dorothy Hoffmann, at home; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholilc Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
