Dennis Joe Blevins, age 60, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2006, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City. He was born June 11, 1946 at Gideon, Missouri, a son of the late Calvin and Irene Robinson Blevins. He was united in marriage on May 17, 1996 in Minneapolis, Minnesota with Juanita Hickey. Mr. Blevins was retired from Mike Kehoe Ford in Jefferson City, was a U.S. Army veteran and member of the United Pentecostal Church in Versailles. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Blevins of the home; seven children, Patty Bartle, Jeff Blevins, and Joe Blevins of Jefferson City, Jason Blevins of Shelbyville, TN, Pamela Blevins of Nashville, TN, Samantha Cook of Carbondale, IL, and Jason Jackson of Kansas City, MO; five brothers and sisters, Bob Blevins of New Hope, MN, Ken Blevins of Jefferson City, Gloria White of Holts Summit, Darlene Miller of New Hope, MN, and Vickey Isles of Kalispell, MT; 13 grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 31, at the United Pentecostal Church in Versailles, with Rev. Gerald Hamlett officiating. Interment will be in the Versailles Cemetery.
