She was born on August 13, 1934 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Henry Clay Sherrer and Lois Lucille Powell Sherrer. Miss Virginia loved good Gospel Music and traveled near and far to singings. She also enjoyed talking with friends on the telephone.
Funeral Service for Miss Virginia Lucille Sherrer, 86, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Monday, March 22, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Randy Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
She is survived by her sister, Anita Crouch of Alexander City and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jack Whaley.
All visitations and services will be held in compliance with the mandated rules from Alabama Dept of Public Health.
