She was born in Baltimore, Md., on April 27, 1901, a daughter of the late Ollie and Estella Wentz. She was a retired clerk with an A&P Company store in Baltimore.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Coffey of Nellysford; one son, Arthur P. Coffey of Wilmington, Del.; one sister, Mrs. Hazel Steinitz of Baltimore, Md.; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Wintergreen Christian Church conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Paquin. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Preston Parr Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Active pallbearers will be John Thomas, Ralph Steinitz, Thornton Coffey, Dick Truslow, Woodrow Meeks, Rodney Thompson, and Sherwood Martin.Honorary pallbearers will be Cindy Coffey, Debra Coffey, Bonnie Coffey, Michael Craft, Brian Craft, Rusty Thompson, Tony Thompson, Sterling McGann, Genna McGann, and Jeff McGann.
