Paul Frederick Brockman, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at 10:56 pm at the age of 95.
He was born May 22, 1925 in Anna, Ohio to the late William H. and Margaret Klindworth Brockman. On February 26, 1949 he married Clarabell E. Egbert, who passed away on February 19, 1985. On July 23, 1988 he married Donna Foulk Krieger Brockman and she survives along with children Diane (Vern) Dewees of Findlay, Ohio, and Jim (Lisa) Brockman of Morehead, Kentucky; grandchildren Darren Dewees of Findlay, Ohio and Michael (Tania), Jason and Jennifer Brockman all of Morehead, Kentucky, as well as great grandchildren, Kyle, Trent, and Rayah Dewees of Findlay Ohio and Tucker, Sawyer and Griffin Brockman of Morehead, Kentucky and one brother Wayne Brockman of Sidney, Ohio; step-daughters, Dianne Krieger (Tim) Mertins of Bluffton, SC; Nancy Krieger (John) Haffelder of Findlay, OH; 8 step-grandchildren and 21 step-great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death beside his parents and first wife were sisters Esther Sturm, Freida Heiland, and Mary Deam; brothers, Leroy, Harold, and George Brockman; and step-sons, David Krieger and Steven Krieger.

Paul graduated from Anna High School in 1943. He served in the army during WWII from January 1945 - December 1946 and was stationed in Alabama before being deployed to the South Pacific. Paul graduated from Miami Jacobs in 1960 and moved his family to Findlay, Ohio where he worked at Marathon Oil Company until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Findlay, Ohio where he often served as Sunday school teacher and deacon.

Paul enjoyed playing tennis, golf, and traveling. He and Donna travelled extensively in the United States including Alaska nd Hawaii as well as Australia, New Zealand, and cruised the Panama Canal. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and nurses at Primrose and Bridge Hospice for their care.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, April 19, 2021 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Chris Dittmar officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service (1:00pm-2:00pm) Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be directed to the First Lutheran Church and online condolences can be shared by visiting coldrencrates.com.
