Loretta Elsie Fairgrieve, 94, of 110 Tideland Drive, Elizabeth City, NC died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Sentara Barco Nursing Center. Born in Cook County, IL, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Martha Wittwer Brenke and was the wife of the late John C. Fairgrieve.
Mrs. Fairgrieve is survived by two daughters, Linda Jones and husband John and Judy Willougby and husband Richard; two sons, John S. Fairgrieve and wife Helga and Paul Fairgrieve and wife Shirley; seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
