Carl Ferdinand Ulbrich and his wife have not been found. They are believed to be here. There are two unmarked graves (according to an internet researcher who visited the cemetery for me). His death certificate says Haning Cemetery, Poca, Putnam Co., West Virginia; their daughter said the Haning family lived across the Poca River from them. After nearly 25 years of research, I would like to memorialize them here in the Lilly Cemetery.
Carl's mother was Beate Schmude Ulbrich, b. 1828 and d. 1852 in Germany, before the family came to America in 1873.
