Mrs. Elizabeth K. Bervert, 82, of Topeka, died early Monday, March 6, 1989 at a Topeka nursing home. Mrs. Bevert had worked for Kansas Basket Co. for 15 years and for the city of Topeka 10 years.
She was born June 16, 1907 in Germany, the daughter of Peter and Barbara Tallinger Schwert.
She moved to the United States when she was 3 years old, and spent most of her life in Topeka. Mrs. Bervert was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. June 17, 1924 in Topeka. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Bervert, Topeka, and Irene Young, El Paso, Texas; a son, James Bervert, Topeka; a sister, Mary Szot, Seattle, Wash.
