Mrs. Amalia Bolgert, age 88, of 613 Green Tree Road, Kohler, died early today, April 7, 1988, at her residence.
The former Amalia Engel, she was born May 9, 1899 at Reinhardt, Russia, to Fred and Katherine Gorr Engel. She immigrated to Sheboygan in 1913. On November 10, 1917 she married Sam Bolgert, of Sheboygan, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Mr. Bolgert died June 14, 1956.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors are two sons, Fred E., of Kohler and Walter P. (Isabell), of Sheboygan; two granddaughters, Sandra Bolgert, of Atlanta, GA and Karen Bolgert, of Sheboygan; one grandson, Paul Bolgert, of Oostburg, Wis.; two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lawrence A. Schmidt, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. The burial will be at the Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 p.m., on Friday, and until the time of services on Saturday.
