Mr. Gottlieb Klunk, 91, formerly of 1214 N. 11th Street and a resident of Morningside Nursing Home for four years, died early Thursday, June 2, 1988 at Morningside.
Gottlieb was born November 10, 1896 in Schaeffer, Russia; a son of the late Conrad and Katherine Messerschmidt Klunck. Gottlieb immigrated to the United States at age 16 and settled in Sheboygan. On November 29, 1919 he was married to the former Mary Goldmann at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Gottlieb had worked for the Mayline Co., and retired from American Hydraulics. Gottlieb was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; one son, Richard E. (Lois) of Sheboygan; two daughters, Mrs. Victor O. (Audrey) Keitel, of Sheboygan and Mrs. Thomas J. (Arline) Justin, of Whitefish Bay, WI; nine grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Anton (Molly) Casl and Mrs. Walter (Edna) Witthuhn, both of Sheboygan. Gottlieb was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Lawrence Schmidt, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at 11 in.
