Christian Arnst, age 92, formerly of 1209 N. 16th St., died early today, June 21, 1988, at the Morningside Health Center where he was a resident for the past two years.
Mr. Arnst was born June 13, 1896 in Russia. He immigrated to the U.S. with his parents. On September 9, 1916 he married Dorothea Feldbush also of Sheboygan. Mr. and Mrs. Arnst celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in 1986. Mr. Arnst was employed as a carpenter and worked for the City of Sheboygan, retiring in 1958. Mr. Arnst was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons; Dr. Elmer (Eleanore) Arnst of Melrose Park, IL; John (Mildred) Arnst of Orland Park, KS; five grandchildren and seven, great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Fred Feldbush and a sister-in-law, Nelda Feldbush of Sheboygan.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Ballhorn : Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lawrence A. Schmidt, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. The burial will be at the Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ballhorn Chapel from noon Thursday to the time of services.
