Services were Sunday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m. at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Charles Leonard and Minister J. H. Thornton officiating. Burial was in Forest Memorial Park
Mrs. Hamlin was a housewife and a member of Danville Church of Christ. Site loved fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Hamlin one daughter, Louis Benjamin, one son, Gordon Ellis of Corinth; three grandchildren, Mike, Kenny and Keith.
She is survived by two daughters, Faye Nicholson of Booneville and Janice Fowler of Michie, Tenn.: three sons, Horace Ellis of Corinth; Howard Ellis of Iuka and Dave Hamlin of Huntsville, Ala: one brother, Freddie Burns of Memphis: and six generations.
