She came to Canada from Rush County, Kansas, with her husband and family 52 years ago, and had made her home at Morris since that time.
She was the widow of August Gebauer.
Surviving are three sons John, Peter and Joseph, all of Morris, and three daughters Mrs. Y. Davis of Winnipeg, Mrs. J. Gorcie of Compton, Calif., and Sister St. Osmund of East Kildonan (Winnipeg).
Prayers were said Thursday at 8.15 p.m. in Barker's funeral home. Requiem high mass Was sung at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph's church, followed by burial in Assiniboine Memorial Park cemetery.

Left to cherish his memory are brothers Delmar and Marvin, and sisters Faye and Fern and families.
