The death of Benjamin Rottinghaus, age 52 occurred Thursday morning at 19:30 o'clock at his home, 1317 South J street. Death was unexpected, and came as a shock to the family. Mr. Rottinghaus had lived here all his life, and was a member of the St. Andrews church.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Margaret Rottinghaus; three brothers, Edward, Frank, and Charles Rottinghaus; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Muhl, Mrs. Alice Smith, Mrs. George Brown, Miss Clara Rottinghaus, all of this city, and Mrs. Thomas Lathron of Dayton.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
