Walter F. Cichon, 75, of Taylorville died 9:07 a.m. Wednesday in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Odilo Catholic Church, Berwyn. Visitation will be 2 to 10 p.m. Friday at Marik Funeral Home, Berwyn. Connolly Funeral Home, Taylorville, is in charge of local arrangements. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Chicago.
Mr. Cichon was born in Chicago, son of Anthony and Catherine Cichon. He was a member of St. Odilo Church, Berwyn, Holy Name Society, Berwyn Knight of Columbus and founder of Moso Club of Berwyn. He married Frances Brodnicki in 1924. She died in 1968.
Surviving are daughter, Mrs. George (Alice) Westrick of Taylorville; brothers, Frank of Clarendon Hills; Leon of Chicago; sisters, Helen Mroz, Sophia Schroeder and Jennie Kralcek, all of Chicago; three grandchildren.
