Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Mrs. Mary C. Breit, 93, Topeka. She died Saturday, June 4, 1988 at her home.
She was born Sept. 3, 1894 at St. Marys, the daughter of Anton & Anna Gerber Kinderknecht
She spent most of her life in Topeka. Mrs. Breit was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She married John E. Breit Feb. 7, 1928 at Hays. He died March 5, 1978.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Breit, at home, and Theresa Klotzbach, Topeka; three granddaughters, and a great-granddaughter.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Breit will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Brennan Funeral Home where rosaries will be recited by Ladies of Columbus at 6:30 p.m. and the Altar Society at 7 p.m. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to Hospice of Topeka
