Joelton – Malcolm Wayne Arrington, age 54, a Nashville Fireman and lifelong resident of Joelton, TN peacefully went to be with the Lord after a brief illness.

Malcolm is preceded in death by his father Jack Arrington and mother Faye Arrington.

Malcolm is survived by his wife Connie ; a married daughter and a son.

Malcolm was born on December 12, 1966 to Jack and Faye Arrington, as their only child. Malcolm was a graduate of Whites Creek High School in 1985. There he met his high school sweetheart and future wife Connie.

Malcolm was a loving husband to Connie for 31 years and a wonderful father to his two [ daughter and son] removed their names] children. He was a dedicated fireman to the citizens of Davidson County for 31 years.

He will be remembered as a simple and selfless man, a lover of the outdoors, auto racing, and the Tennessee Volunteers. Malcolm made a lasting impact on many people throughout his life and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will take place at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home on Friday, September 3rd from 4:30 until 8 P.M. and again on Saturday, September 4th at Bethel Church of Christ from 10 A.M. until the hour of Service at 11 A.M.

Interment follows at Joelton Hills Memory Gardens
