Edward M. Forbes, 74, Dies in Office Building
Edward M. Forbes, 74, of Virginia Beach, died in a downtown office building yesterday at 11 a.m. as he was on his way to an appointment.
He was a native of Jarvisburg, N.C., the son of Andrew J. and Mrs. Margaret D. Forbes, and had been a resident of this section for 35 years. He resided at 12th Street and Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Meyer Davis Forbes; two sons, Jett Forbes, of California, and Jarvis D. Forbes, of Connecticut; two brothers, Charles H. Forbes, of Norfolk, and Myron Forbes, of Buffalo, N.Y., and three grandchildren.
The body was removed to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
