JOHN MICHAEL GECK

John Michael Geck, age 41, passed away suddenly on June 7, 2004. He was born on December 10, 1962 in Alameda County, California. John was a 20 year resident of Nevada. He was employed by Reno Green Landscaping as an irrigation technician. John was an active member of the Harley-Davidson Assoc. of Northern Nevada and took part in the Hollister Rally and the Run-A-Mucca Street Vibrations. He enjoyed many outdoor activities including river fishing, camping, gardening and dirt bike riding.
He was preceded in death by his mother Marinell Geck and mother-in-law, Helen Stewart. He is survived by his wife Tammey Stewart; father Don Geck; grandfather Albert Geck; grandmother Nell Fitzpatrick; brother Patrick Geck of California; sister Kathleen Geck of Nevada; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, June 11, 2004 at Ross Burke & Knobel, 2155 Kietzke Lane, Reno NV, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Service will be at same location in the chapel, Saturday, June 12 at 9:00 am. Interment will be private.
