Ethel Florence Zickafoose, age 90, passed away October 11, 2021. Born November 8, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Stella Duncan Zickafoose. Ethel was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church of Lewisburg, W. Va. and regularly attended the Lawn Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed hosting the yearly Zickafoose reunions for many years and keeping up the homestead for the family to enjoy. She loved getting together with family, and the day before she died, she was picking apples to make apple butter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert "Bobby" Lee Zickafoose, two sisters, Erma Lee Felts and Aretta Jane Delmas; two brothers, Shadrach Abraham Zickafoose and Azel Ford Zickafoose and five half-brothers and four half-sisters. Survivors include two sisters, Ruby Ann Holliday of Crawley, W. Va., and Nina Faye Emmerling of Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, William Morgan Zickafoose of Springdale, W. Va., and Elbert Willkie Zickafoose of Lincoln Park, Mich.; a grandson, Robert Lee Zickafoose, Jr. and two great grandchildren. Burial at McElhenney Cemetery, Grassey Meadows, W. Va.
