Florence Van Lannnen

Florence T. Van Lannen, 84, Pulaski, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021, at her home. The daughter of Louis and Helen (Adler) Stanke was born November 16, 1936, at home in the Township of Angelica.

Florence worked as a payroll clerk at Northern Shoe and as a line worker at Green Bay Foods until her retirement. She was very devout in her faith and was a lifelong member of Assumption B.V.M. Parish. Florence liked to play cards and watch the birds from her kitchen table. She was an avid Packers fan and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving Florence are her four children: Jayne (Jim) Radtke, Karen (Gordy) Wilcox, Doug (Katy) Van Lannen, Daniel Van Lannen, and son-in-law, Keith (Tassie) Williquette; six grandchildren: Jacob (Jen) Wilcox, Joshua (Rachel) Wilcox, Dylan (Emma) Williquette, Allison Van Lannen, Dustin Van Lannen and Lauren Van Lannen; two great-grandchildren: Rosaleigh and Jack Wilcox; a brother, Louie (Pearl) Stanke; two sisters: Ellie (Ron) Drage and Mary Hodkiewicz; two sisters-in-law: Marilyn and Karen Stanke; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is further survived by the father of her children and former husband, Leonard Van Lannen and his sisters, brothers, and sisters-in-law.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn T. Williquette; a sister, Rosemary (Ralph) Lasecki; three brothers: Joe (Annabelle) Stanke, Fritz Stanke, and John Stanke; and a brother-in-law, Al Hodkiewicz.

Friends are invited to gather with the family on Saturday, October 30, at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, from 9-11 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. James Gannon, O.F.M. officiating and Deacon Rich Matuszak assisting. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
