Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with the Rev. Phil Kruse officiating and the Rev. Dennis Quint and the Rev. Richard Gaul as concelebrants. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish scripture service at 4 p.m.
She was born on Jan. 20, 1908, in Hopkinton, daughter of Conrad and Barbara (Ludwig) Bonert. She attended St. Paul School in Worthington.
She married Gregory B. Wulfekuhle on Sept. 11, 1934, in Worthington. Together they farmed near Earlville and Petersburg until retiring in 1967, when they moved to Dyersville; he preceded her in death in 1978. She also worked at the Colonial Motel for many years.
Cecelia loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting until the day she died.
Surviving are two sons, Ernest (JoAnn), of Dyersville, and Joe (Pat), of Petersburg; two daughters, JoAnn (Edwin) Loeffelholz, of Dyersville, and Darlene (Joe) Szymusik, of Rescue, Calif.;
19 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; five step-grandchildren; a sister, Leona Frieburger, of Delhi; and a sister-in-law, Rita Bonert, of Hopkinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; eight sisters, Frances Johannes Weyer, Margaret Quint, Martha Connolly, Malvina Offermann, Florence Summers, Kathryn Nefzger, Magdalen Bonert, in infancy, and Magdalen Jesenovec; and four brothers, Anton, Lawrence, John and Leo Bonert.
