Therese Konopasek, age 95, peacefully passed away Monday, December 6, 2021.
After devoting many years of her life to raising nine children and running an organized household, she worked as a teaching assistant and enjoyed flea marketing, cross stitching, cooking, bargain hunting and playing the piano. She loved having her family together for special occasions. Her competitive spirit appeared most often while playing card games especially pinochle.
After living in Griffith for over 40 years, she and her husband moved to a home in Crown Point, Indiana. She was a member of Crown Point St. Matthias Catholic Church and very devoted to daily prayer especially the Rosary.
Proceeded in death by husband of 59 years, Donald Konopasek, parents Peter and Amanda (Fetsch) Dahlke and sibling Sister Marian Dahlke, SSSF.
The family sincerely appreciates the prayers and support from many friends and the kind care provided by Traditions Hospice Care of Crown Point, by memory care at Cedarhurst of Dyer and by Clarendale of Schererville.

Catholic Mass 10 AM, Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 101 W. Burell Drive, Crown Point followed by Interment at Calumet Park Cemetery.
