Marlin Paul Doht was born on November 23, 1932 to Paul and Hermine (Rodick) Doht at his family farm in rural Bancroft, NE. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bancroft. He attended Bancroft Public School and graduated from Bancroft High School in 1951.
Marlin married Delores Lutjen on April 10, 1955 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bancroft, NE.
Marlin was a farmer his whole life and worked various ag related jobs in addition to farming. He later farmed with his son, Scott. Marlin was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in West Point, NE and a member of the American Legion Post in Bancroft.
Marlin was preceded in death by his parents-Paul & Hermine Doht, sisters, Rose Kratke, Irene (Schnier) Weitzenkamp, twin brother-Marvin Doht, Grandson Matthew Doht, and Great- Granddaughter Laikynn Reif.
Interment will be at a later date in the Bancroft Cemetery.
