NORTH PLATTE, NE. -- Travis Allen Fisher, 24, of North Platte, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at North Platte, Nebraska, as the result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born Jan. 22, 1977, at North Platte, Nebraska, to Allen and Linda (Sullivan) Fisher.
He attended North Platte High School.
He had worked on a steel gang and hired out with the Union Pacific Railroad in November 1998 as a conductor.
He was a member of the Professional Bull Riders, and United Transportation Union Local No. 200.
Survivors include his parents, Allen and Linda Fisher of North Platte, NE; one sister, Andrea Weitzel (Josh) of North Platte, NE; one brother, Shane Fisher of North Platte, NE; grandparents, LeRoy and Ramona Fisher of North Platte, NE, Charlene Sullivan of North Platte, NE, and Leon and Mary Lou Sullivan of Omaha, NE; a special nephew, Kaden Weitzel; and numerous local survivors including aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be at the First Baptist Church in North Platte, Nebraska, with the Rev. Larry Lang officiating. Interment will be at the North Platte Cemetery.
