Paul R. Gindlesperger, age 84, of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania passed away December 21, 2007 at his home. He was born May 26, 1923 in Sipesville, Pa. to Lemon and Daisy Gindlesperger. He was the husband of the late Betty Gabler Gindlesperger. He retired from PennDOT in 1985. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. He was a life member of the VFW Post 1599 and the American Legion Post 46 in Chambersburg. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend to everyone that he knew. He loved gardening and baseball. He was an Army Veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his daughter; Paula (wife of Dennis) Woodal of Chambersburg and his two grandsons; Cuyler and Dylan Upperman. He is also survived by a sister; Bessie Smalley of Chambersburg and four brothers; Lester, Kenneth, Dean & Ray Gindlesperger of Somerset. Paul is also survived by his friend and caregiver, Carrie Hughes of Chambersburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and a former companion, Vera Gabler.
