Esther Weber and her husband lived on a farm west of Billings. In 1947, they moved into Billings. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, sewing and baking.
Mrs. Weber, 82, of 1096 Hallowell Lane, died Tuesday evening in St. Vincent Hospital after a short illness.
She was born in Lincoln, Neb., a daughter of Conrad and Alice Walter. In 1907, she came with her parents on a train to Billings where she was raised and educated. On May 17, 1927, she married John Weber there.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Smith of 1940 Custer AVe. and Mrs. Dan (Lorraine) Stuckey of Duncanville, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Rachel Schoessler of 1615 Yellowstone Ave.; a half-sister, Molly Walter of 3610 Fourth Ave. S.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Billings Bible Church. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Smith Downtown Chapel is in charge.
