Olga Margaret Walker, 95, Minot, formerly of Denver, Colorado, died Monday, August 13, 2018 in a Minot hospital.

Olga was born December 13, 1922 in Wakeeney, Kansas, the daughter of George and Margaret (Deines) Fabrizius. She was raised and educated in Wakeeney and graduated from Trego County High School in 1939. She attended Hayes State College where she earned her teaching certificate. She taught briefly in Kansas, before moving to Denver, Colorado, where she lived for 54 years.

Olga was once married to Alton Walker. From this union their three children were born: Susan, Sarah and John. Throughout the years, she taught pre-school in Denver, worked in accounting at the Denver Federal Center, and worked in a button factory. She moved to Minot in 1999 to live nearer to her grandchildren.

Olga was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Over the years she actively served in her Bible Study group, Birthday Club and TOPS club. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, cooking and baking. The thing she most enjoyed was being surrounded by her family with big dinners and celebrations. She passed on her joy and love for food and cooking to her family, as well.

Her loving family includes: Her children; Susan (Paul) Dodd, Minot; Sarah Walker, Minot, and John (Deb) Walker, Minot; 7 grandchildren to include: Jonathan (Erin) Dodd, Ryan (Emily) Dodd, Kelsey Dodd, Adam (Jewel) Dodd, Dawn (Mike) Nelson, Erika (Christopher) Fazardo, & Stephanie Lahr (Andy Eliason); 8 great grandchildren to include: Avery, Addyson, Leah, Jacob, April, Henry, Jonah, and Louise; siblings, Hulda Dorsch, Louisburg, KS, Art Fabrizius, Broken Arrow, OK, Edna Hamburg, Lyons, KS & Paul (Darlyne) Fabrizius, Aurora, CO; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Olga was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Argus, Herman, Richard, and George Fabrizius and Lydia Frank.

Celebration of Life service: Monday, August 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Minot.
