ARNOLD P. SILVA a lifetime resident of Alameda County, passed away Friday, October 19, 2001 age 77. Beloved husband for 27 years of the late Arlene Silva, who passed away September 17th of this year. Loving father of Dale Anderson of Sunol. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Adrienne and Gene Lemos of Hayward. Uncle of Sue Olson of Antioch, Michael Lemos of Fremont and Joan Evitt of Hayward. Mr. Silva served under General Patton during WWII in the Army Corps of Engineers. He worked as an Operating Engineer for Redgewick Construction Company for 55 years. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #3. He was a graduate of Washington High School in Fremont. Private family services will be held.
