Katherine A. (Harmle) Kloecker, 92, passed away at St. Mary's Asbury Ridge on Tuesday, April 5th. She was born in Erie May 26, 1929 to the late Frank and Beulah Harmle.

Katherine was a proud Villa Maria Academy Alum, Class of 1946. She happily coordinated numerous class reunions. In 1948, she married Edward J. Kloecker and together they raised their eight children. She worked for many years as a nurse aide at St. Vincent Hospital.

Other than her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, her brother, Edward Harmle and her daughter-in-law, Diane.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Harmle of Burley, ID, her children, Robert (Ilona) of Herrenberg, Germany, Margaret of Erie, Joseph of Erie, James (Kim) of Waterford, William (Jeannine) of Erie, Mary Huber (James) of Girard, Edward (Sandra) of Erie and Carol Johnson (Scott) of South Riding, VA. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she would brag about endlessly!

Friends may call on Friday at the Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc, 2502 Sassafras St from 3 pm to 7 pm and are invited to a service there on Saturday at 9:15 am followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church/Bread of Life Community at 10 am.
