David G. Fraley, 64, of Connersville, entered his heavenly home on Monday afternoon, April 11, 2022 at Reid Health, Richmond after a lengthy illness.
He was born to Lewis A. and Georgia L. (Drummonds) Fraley on July 23, 1957 in Connersville, Indiana.
He graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1975. After high school, he attended the University of Kentucky. Formerly, he worked at Whitewater Industries until they closed, then he worked at Visteon and its predecessors until they closed.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends: playing card games, yard croquet, cook-outs, or just visiting around the bonfire. His hobbies included crossword puzzles, reading, cooking homemade meals, and coin collecting. He was an avid pet lover, having many various pets throughout his life.
He is survived by one brother, Marvin L. Fraley of Connersville; two sisters, Doris G. (Jobie) Moore and Mary E. (Lee Roy) Congleton, both of Connersville; one sister-in-law, Irene Fraley of El Paso, Texas; five nieces, Georgetta Renee (Alan) LePhew of Connersville, Cherish L. Kaesberg of Cedar Park, Texas, Chasity A. (Devin) Parrett-Cook of Pflugersville, Texas, Angie Stegner of Indianapolis, and Gina Kay Hunt of Pennsylvania; three nephews, Stephen W. (Karen) Fraley of Connersville, and Matthew Fraley and Michael Fraley, Jr. both of El Paso Texas; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, and great nephews. He is also survived by his long-time caregiver, Timothy Fowler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Michael L. Fraley; a sister-in-law, LaDonna Fraley; one great nephew, Caden Cornett; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2022 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Chris Lovett will officiate. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
