Lodema Frances Truesdell Horsley age 95 of Camp Dix, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation in Maysville, Kentucky.

She was born March 3, 1927 in Lewis County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Jesse and Leona Himes Truesdell.

Lodema was a member of Blankenship Christian Holliness Church for many years. She enjoyed playing on her ipad, taking rides, fishing, vacations, reading and spending time with family and making sure everyone always had something to eat.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband whom she was married to for over fifty years, Wilmer Theodore Horsley Sr.; four brothers, Oscar Truesdell, Ernest Truesdell, Leonard Truesdell and Charlie Truesdell; two sisters, Lorene Horsley and an infant, Lucille.

She is survived by two sons, Ted (Teresa) Horsley and James Boyd (Kim) Horsley all of Vanceburg, Kentucky; two daughters, Gloria (David) Pollitt of Vanceburg, Kentucky and Lana Goodlander of Maysville, Kentucky; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, Kentucky with Brother Jerry Bloomfield and Brother Jerry Blevins. Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery on Route 59 in Lewis County, Kentucky.

Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Dickerson Funeral Home at 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg, Kentucky and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home until the service hour.

Lodema's family will serve as pallbearers.
