Daughter of Littleberry Applewhite "Ap" Jackson and Louisa Mary Hughes "Luddie" and Wife of Jesse Arnold Kent. According to Eula Mae's Death Certificate she died as a result of uterine hemorrhage - rupture of uterus during labor with an oversized baby delivered with forceps. She delivered the Baby Boy on 20 Oct and actually died on 30 Oct 1933 at 6:00am. While visiting in July, 2007 my Dad told me that he remembers helping to dig his Mother's grave and the Baby's grave as well - he would have been only 7 yrs old. Eula Mae specifically stated that she did not want an A-frame of corrugated tin on top of her grave - she rests between Jesse Arnold and the Baby; however, the Baby Boy does rest under an A-frame.
