She was born January 31st, 1948 in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Joseph Allen Birk who preceded in death and Mildred Marie (Bollinger) Birk, who survives in Cape Girardeau.
She married Larry H. Molitor on February 16, 1974 in St. Louis. He survives.
She is also survived by a son: Chris E. Molitor and by a daughter: Katie A. Molitor both of Ste. Genevieve.
One brother: Bob Birk of Nashville, Tenn. and a sister: Nancy Stone of Cape Girardeau, also survive.
She is also survived by a granddaughter.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter: Sarah E. Molitor.
She was a member of the Church of Ste. Genevieve and a member of the Parish Council. She was also a member of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the Foundation for the Restoration of Ste. Genevieve and was one of the founders of TEAM Spirit, an anti-alcohol and anti-drug program at Valle Catholic High School. She was also a member and past president of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.
She was retired from her position as a librarian at Valle Catholic High School.
Visitation from 3-8 p.m. this afternoon and evening at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
A funeral service for 51-year-old Sandra J. Molitor of Ste. Genevieve will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Burial in the Valle Spring Cemetery. The Rev. John Patrick Day will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Sarah and Sandy Molitor Scholarship Fund in care of the Bank of Bloomsdale.
