Mark Alphonses Ruppert, 88, of Weston went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Fink, WV, son of the late Charles Ruppert and Lottie Kraus Ruppert. Mark was united in marriage on July 23, 1959 to his loving wife Beulah Cooper Ruppert. Together they shared 62 years of marriage.
Cherishing the life of Mark are 2 daughters; Christal Hensil of Buckhannon and Diana Rogers and spouse Jeff of Lost Creek, 2 sons; Mark Ruppert and spouse Kathy of Weston and Terry Ruppert of Weston, 8 grandchildren; Eric Hensil and spouse Dawn of Salem, Brett Ann Workman and spouse Jerry of Buckhannon, Halen Hensil and fiancé Tyler of Fairmont, Seth Hensil of Buckhannon, Chris Rogers and spouse Katelyn of Weston, Calli Rogers of Lost Creek, Cory Ruppert and spouse Ashley of Pricetown, and Teirra Harris of Weston, 5 great grandchildren; Laney Ruppert, Brody Rogers, Lacey Ferrebee, Gavin Harris, and Ava Harris, 2 brothers; Tom Ruppert of Weston and Charles Ruppert of Oregon, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by 1 brother; Lawrence Ruppert and 2 sisters; Elizabeth Droppleman and Teresa Linger.
Mark retired from the State Hospital with 35 years of service as the Manager of the Forensic Unit. He was a member of the St. Patrick's Church of Weston. Mark served in the United States Army from 1954-1962. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed.
Family and friends will be received at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue of Weston on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 5PM-7PM with Rosary being recited at 6:30PM in the funeral home chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10AM from the St. Patrick Catholic Church of Weston with Father Douglas Ondeck as Celebrant. Interment will follow the Mass at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens of Jane Lew.
