Monica Mae Gilleland, 82, of Bartlesville, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at St. John Catholic Church.
Monica was born in Fonda, Iowa, on May 1, 1939, to Clarence and Esther Heller. She was the 8th child and last survivor of 12 siblings. She enjoyed traveling in the United States with family and friends. Her favorite places were the Holy Lands and Lake Tahoe.
Monica is survived by her four daughters: Dellene (Michael) Nielsen of Bartlesville, OK, Tracey (Blaine) Ferch of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Joan (Craig) Tesch of Everly, Iowa, and Vanessa (Ted) Whitnah of Moore, OK; her grandchildren: Brandon, Michaela, Zach, Jasen, Calista, Alexis, Eric, Caine, Rhys, Taylor, and Chelsea; 20 great-grandchildren; as well as her best friend Anna Collins.
Monica was preceded in death by her parents; 8 brothers and 3 sisters, and great-grandsons Macoy and Elyjah.
