Mary L. Grubbs, 64, of Bloomington, went peaceably home to be with the Lord and the love of her life William Grubbs, Sr. Many called her Mom or Grandma Mary.

Mary died at Bloomington Hospital Monday evening. She was born September 21, 1943, in Fairmount, IN, to Edward Porter of Bloomington and the late Edna L (Stevens) Porter.

Survivors include 2 sons, Brian Grubbs and William (Penny) Grubbs, both of Bloomington; 1 daughter, Barbara Grubbs of Bloomington; 4 sisters, Brenda (Don) Hostetler, Alice (Tom) Hostetler and Wanda Frye, all of Bloomington and Dorothy Mitchell of Mt. Vernon, Georgia; 3 grandchildren, William Grubbs lll, Ashley Grubbs and Christina Harmon; 2 great-grandchildren, Caleb Sullivan and Jonathon Sullivan.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband and mother.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Day Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Baker.

Burial will follow at Salt Creek Cemetery in Knightridge.
