Services will be at 9 Friday morning in DeRoo Funeral Home and at 9:30 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline, and rosary will be at 7:30 tomorrow night in the funeral home. Friends may call after noon tomorrow in DeRoo Funeral Home.
Mr. Sprung was born Feb. 18, 1918, in Moline the son of Frank and Florence Sprung. He was graduated from Moline High School and attend Brown Business College in Moline. For the last 17 years he was employed as foreman in the tool designing departments at American Machine and Metals Inc., Moline. Previously he was employed by Moline National Bank.
On June 10, 1942, he married Imogene Cullison in Kewanee. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, International Association of Machinists, Local 548, and the American Society of Tool Engineers.
Surviving are the widower; his mother; five children, Bill Jean, Margaret Ann, Frank John, Robert Michael and Richard Martin, all at home; a brother James Robert, West Ashville, N.C.; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Clare Gustafson, Moline, Mrs. Patricia Fabian Flem, Iowa City; and Sister Mary Petrus of Immaculate Conception Academy, Davenport.
