He and his family have been living in Minneapolis, MN. for a number of years where he was employed at the State of Minnesota Highway Dept. as a clerk II. He has been suffering from a lingering illness for a number of years.
He passed this life on October 23, 1976, at the age of 47 years, two months and 15 days. He leaves to mourn his wife, Ardis of Minneapolis, MN; their two children, Samuel and Mary Beth of Gary; his mother, Mrs. Gertie Knutson of Sunrise Manor, Tyler, MN; a sister (Rhoda) Mrs. William C. Thomas of Oakes, ND; a sister (Marlys) Mrs. Paul Bruemmer of Tyler, MN; two brothers, T. Sgt. Ronald Knutson of West Berlin, Germany and T, Sgt. Carl H. Knutson of Okinawa; and a sister, Dorathea Knutson of New Ulm, MN. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Carl B. Knutson.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 27, 1976 at 2 PM from the First Lutheran Church at Gary with Rev. David Waege of Minneapolis officiating.
