She was born Lean Baum on March 1, 1891, at Fayetteville, Ark., and spent her early years there. On Aug. 3, 1912, she was married to Carl Christopher at Springfield, Ill. They later moved to Montana and in 1918 they moved to Chelan. They owned and operated an orchard until Mr. Christopher's death in 1946. She remained active in the orchard business until 1972.
She had a lifelong interest in music and singing. She was a member of the Ladies Musical Club of Wenatchee and St. Andrew's Episcopal Church of Chelan.
Survivors include two sons, Carl Jr., San Rafeal, Calif., Kenneth, Chelan; one daughter, Julia Kemmer, Moses Lake; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were under the direction of Precht Rose Chapel.
