Funeral services for Louis M. Zamzow, who died Thursday were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of Peace, Rev. Martin Koehler and Rev. Ray Whitton officiating. Mrs. Watson Waehler was the organist. Frederick Krueger sang.
Burial was in Estabrooks Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Liewellyn Burrows, Lawrence McFarland, Leonard Bacon Jr., Leo Zamzow, Bryan Zamzow and Charles Zamzow. Military graveside rites were conducted by the American Legion Trier-Puddy Post 75 firing squad with William Greene and Victor Broome, color guards; Joseph Karst and Floyd Jones, color bearers; Edson Stubbs, Henry Rucks, John Pitas, Thomas Corcoran, Andrew F. Johnson, Everett Culver, Arthur Mossong and Leo Marcoe firing squad, Robert Samuel, bugler, and Lawrence McEnroe,

Louis Michael Zamzow, 60, of 4 S. Gould St., died unexpectedly at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at his home.
He was born Aug. 10, 1905, in Fond du Lac, the son of Charles and Barbara Boehlen Zamzow. He married Athol Bacon Aug. 9, 1930, in Rockford, Ill. A World War II veteran, he was employed by the Panetti Stone Co. He was a member of the Church of Peace.
Survivors include one brother, Joseph, Rosendale, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, and a brother.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of Peace, Rev. Martin Koehler officiating. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 p.m. Sunday at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, until 11 a.m. Monday, when the body will be moved to the church and lie in state from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
