Sterling Vincent Schreiber, 78, of Emmaus, PA, died October 22, 2006 in Salisbury Township, PA. Born in Emmaus, he was a son of the late Melvin and Mamie Reese Schreiber. He worked for Allen Organ Company and was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include nieces; nephews; and a companion, Mary Wieland. Services were private and taken care of by Bachman, Kulik and Reinsmith Funeral Home in Emmaus, PA.

He served from February 1946-April 1947 in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Dix, NJ during his time of service with the Army. His job was to develop x-rays at the VA Hospital. He also performed as a DJ for the radio station at the hospital. Received early discharge when his unit was disbanded.
