Herman Lamping was a first generation immigrant to the USA from Germany, coming after WW1. Herman Lamping, beloved husband of the late Anna Tegenkamp. Loving father of the late Herman Lamping, and Joseph A. Lamping. Grandfather to Elizabeth Hollstegge (Richard), Michael Lamping (Mary Jane Zambenedetti), Patricia Schneider (William), and David Lamping. He was one of nine children who grew up on a farm, the oldest. He was a hard working proud german man who made his way up the ranks at Hudepohl Brewery from working at the stables to selling and delivering beer. He was also a funny soft spoken gruff man, who loved his daily afternoon cigar, single beer and a shot of whiskey. Died of natural causes.
